First-Time Users

• The first time you enter this site to apply for a permit, you will need to register and create a password.
• If you have been issued a permit since 2021, please email FCBuilding@TownofForestCity.com to obtain a portal access code.
• Please follow the instructions and if you have any problems, please contact us.
• If you prefer to apply for a permit by utilizing a paper form, please see "Documents" at the bottom of this page. 
• You do not have a valid permit until your permit has been invoiced or paid for. 

In the instance of an electric service upgrade (panel, meter, combo, etc) if there is not an outside disconnect present, the electrician will be required to be on site at the time of energizing.

All service drops and energizations must be scheduled by calling the Town of Forest City Public Works Department at (828) 245-0149. 
 

Please note that all "in person" permitting and transactions will take place in the Collections Department of Town Hall.
